What is Right Brain Education?
Right Brain Education is a learning program that teaches children and adults in a whole new way. It incorporates techniques that speak to the right hemisphere of the brain and how it learns: intuitively, effortlessly, through images, relaxation, music and love.
Although it is called "Right Brain Education," our method encourages whole brain development by linking all right brain technologies — speed learning, photographic memory, intuitive math and language, and three-dimensional imagination — with the logical, methodical left brain.
The right “emotional brain” is the brilliantly creative side of the brain. When it is properly nurtured with love, it can help your child learn effortlessly, sponging up just about anything with passion, joy and ease. Photographic memory, auditory recall, multi-dimensional mental imagery, speed reading, speed writing, and passionate creativity leading to invention of all kinds becomes possible. The right brain ONLY opens when we’re happy, healthy and well-loved. That’s why our TweedleWink and Wink classes are based on a solid foundation of trust, positivity and respect for each and every child.
How does it work?
There are two sides to your child's brain - a right side and a left side. And each side has a personality.
These sides are connected by a "bridge" - a band of nerve fibers called the corpus callosum. This bridge coordinates the hemispheres, allowing them to work together harmoniously to do just about anything we set our minds to.
Our TweedleWink and Wink right brain leaning programs promote whole brain development by honoring both sides of the brain. We teach in a creative way that speaks to your child's playful, passionate right-brain spirit, not just standard left-brain academics to appeal to reason and rationality. We deliver our teaching to the right brain first, and then to the left.
